Broken Baby’s musicless music video is a comedic behind-the-scenes gem

Ever wondered what a music video sounds like without the music?

I am a huge fan of Broken Baby and their brand of chaotic stick it to the man sass-rock. Part of their charm is their grungy darkly comedic music videos but if you’ve ever wondered what all the source material looks like without the music overlay, you are in for a treat. Broken Baby has released a musicless version of their video for ‘Make Manager’ and it contains all the real-world sounds of the actual recordings. Considering it features Amber and Alex running around and cavorting in a retail store, the quickly chopped-up cuts and methods to mouth or keep in time to the music are exposed in the raw footage. I found it both fascinating from a behind-the-scenes perspective and also oddly comedic.

Enjoy the crazy musicless video for ‘Make Manager’ below and check out my glowing review of their 2021 album ‘Late Stage Optimism‘ for more chaotic goodness.
