The best way to introduce you to the electronica that Ben Lukas Boysen creates is to showcase it alongside the stunning music video for his new single ‘Medela’. Ben released his new album ‘Mirage’ last week and it focuses on taking sounds and bending them out of context or amplifying different aspects of the instruments. I featured him in an introducing post last month but now he has released a stunning music video using 3D mapping tools that really brings everything together for me. I hope readers don’t mind me posting about someone two months running but this video connected with me on a deep level.
I’ve little else to say but watch the video below and be blown away. As a fan of non-narrative films like Baraka, Samsara and the Qatsi trilogy – this is gold dust.
